🇬🇧 AdamLaw Juristbyrå – Online Services Policy
1. Scope
This policy applies to all legal services provided online by AdamLaw JuristbyrĂĄ ("AdamLaw", "we", "our", "the Firm") via the website www.adamlaw.nu, email, or other digital platforms.
By ordering or purchasing a service, you ("the Client") agree to these terms.
2. Nature of the Service
AdamLaw provides professional legal consultancy and representation in matters of Swedish and EU law, including migration law, family law, and related legal procedures.
All services are personalised and case-specific, and the work often begins immediately upon confirmation.
3. Distance Contract
When you order a legal service online, your order constitutes a distance agreement under the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (Distansavtalslagen, 2005:59).
By confirming your order, you expressly consent that:
-
The service will begin immediately, and
-
You waive your statutory right of withdrawal ("ångerrätt") once work has started.
This applies because the service involves individualised legal work which cannot be undone or returned once initiated.
4. No Right of Withdrawal
According to Chapter 2, Section 11 of the Distansavtalslagen, no right of withdrawal applies if:
-
The service has been fully performed with your prior consent, or
-
The client has requested that work begin before the withdrawal period expires.
By ordering online or paying an invoice, you acknowledge and accept that AdamLaw may begin work immediately and that you lose your right of withdrawal once work has started.
5. Fees and Payment
All prices are stated in SEK and exclusive of VAT unless otherwise specified.
Payment is due in advance unless another written agreement exists.
Once work has begun, fees are non-refundable, even if you later discontinue the matter.
6. Delivery and Completion
Depending on the assignment, delivery may include:
-
Written advice via email,
-
Drafting of legal documents, or
-
Representation before Swedish authorities or courts.
Estimated completion times depend on the complexity of your case and the availability of necessary documents.
7. Complaints and Disputes
